<title>Length of loan periods changed</title>

  In order to make our library collection as accessible to as many people as possible, effective immediately, the loan period for DVD's and VCD's is shortened to two weeks.   The loan period for other items (books, language kits, etc.) remain three weeks.

<title>Video discs can now be borrowed</title>

  The library's VCD and DVD collection can now be borrowed. The borrower can borrow either up to&#160;4 discs or up to&#160;2 books. There is a $1 service charge for discs.

<title>Library experience for library technician students</title>

  The Centre is very pleased to offer work experience to a second batch of students taking the librarianship course at Seneca College. The three students in the photo (left to right), Sandra Lam, Dan Jiang and Angela Liu, are all new immigrants. They will volunteer about two hours per week in the Richard Charles Lee Resource Centre under the direction of librarian Mr.&#160;Chuck Wong.  The Centre extends thanks to the volunteers, and to their course director at Seneca College, Mr.&#160;Carlyle Kemp-Jackson.

<title>Full CCC membership required for library card</title>

Patrons currently holding library memberships will not be required to upgrade their memberships until their current library memberships expire.
